Product Details

• Models: These industrial models have several variations: 12 gauge steel constitutes a light duty (-LD) hopper, 10 gauge indicates a medium duty (-MD) steel hopper and 8 gauge steel signifies a heavy duty (-HD) hopper.
• Construction: The units are constructed of high quality steel with robotic welds to make them leak-proof. Models BD-33, BD-50, BD-75, and BD-100 are stackable if the top hopper is turned 90 degrees from the bottom.
• Size: The fork pockets are 7-1/2" wide x 2-1/2" high. The base fork pockets are 3/16" thick. Models range in width from 26" to 92", in depth from 52" to 69", and in height from 38" to 52-1/2".
• Color: The units have a powder coated blue finish. Contact Beacon for more optional color code finishes, including Beacon yellow, white, grey, blue, green, red, orange, and galvanized. Galvanized finishes are suitable for wet environments.
• Weight: Models range in weight from 360 to 1,110 lbs.
• Usage: Special leak proof design sold separately.
• Capacity: These Scrap Hopper models feature capacities of 2,000, 4,000, or 6,000 lbs. Volume capacities range from 1/3 to 3-1/2 cubic yards.
• Standard: All Self Dumping Hopper units come standard with a locking chain to secure the hopper to the fork truck. Cable is also supplied to provide manual dumping of the hopper.
• Options: Optional caster, finishes, and a sideways tilt option and lifting lugs are available for the Self Dumping Hopper. The tilt option is available for only BD-75 and BD-100 models. Customer must have prior permission from fork truck manufacturer.
• Surcharge: Due to supply chain disruption, inflation or material shortages - tariffs or surcharges may apply to current published pricing. Some longer lead times may be incurred. Freight charges will be added to published pricing.
• Note: All standard and special hoppers are stitch welded. Special continuous welds for liquid tight available at additional charge.
