Beacon® BDCR-205 Series

The Forklift Drum Dumper - Fork Mounted Barrel Rotator allows for easy transport and rotation of drums using a fork truck. It assists in the safety of drum handling. These units are designed for use with steel drums. Optional upgrade can handle plastic or fiber 55-gallon drums. This series holds drums securely in place using a strong, heavy-duty chain-locking system.

Product Details

Construction: Features heavy-duty steel construction.
Size: The fork pockets measure 7 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" high (usable space).
Service Range: These units allow drums to be rotated 360 degrees from 15' chain control at the operator seat.
Power: DC-powered units include a battery with an on-board charger and a hand-held control on a 4 to 20-ft. long coil cord. Optional wireless remote control is available for DC units.
Installation: Option upgrades are designed to hold and manage fiber and plastic drums.
Weight: Forklift Drum Dumper units weigh between 221-359 lbs. identified as shipping weight. Loss weight on the approval drawing is the weight of the forklift drum dumper itself.
Operation: These models are designed for use with a fork truck with an operator on the seat controlling drum rotation by a 15' chain. Self lock rotator will not dump unless rotated by the operator.
Capacities: Models are designed with capacities from 800 to 2,000 lbs.
Standard: A bung nut wrench is included for drum opening and closing. Each unit comes standard with a 15' long chain for 360-degree rotation. BDCR-205-20 includes a dual ratchet strap.
Options: BFDA-800 comes with both BFDA-550 & BFDA-250, for 12" to 21" diameter - 28" to 36" tall steel, plastic or fiber drums. BFDC-30 is for 30 gallon, steel, fiber or poly drums & must be used with BFDA-550 or BFDA-800 models. BFDRS is for 30 & 55 gallon drums.
